Green choices without compromises
At Althermo, we firmly believe that the ongoing commitment of each individual can help make our future “greener” and the planet a better place to live for everyone. So, we try to do our part by making specific choices without resorting to compromises. We want to design and produce machines which exceed current overall efficiency standards and focus on all innovations in terms of materials, types of paint coatings, electronic controls and monitoring systems for our devices. Every Althermo device is designed, not only with product efficiency in mind, but also taking into account the overall efficiency of the system in which it will be installed.
We have decided to fit our Dry Coolers and Remote Condensers only with high-performance EC fans for all the applications in which they can be used. This is in compliance with the requirements of the reference ERP Directive which will lay down more stringent limits from 2020. These restrictions will lead to units with AC fans and regulatory systems being reviewed or redesigned. So, choosing an EC solution now means offering the market a current, long-lasting standard, so that customers will already be one step ahead of the competition. AC fans are available on request for applications that do not allow the use of EC fans.
We have also developed the most efficient solution on the market for the adiabatic system.
We have designed Intellibatic, the intelligent, adiabatic system with AOP System (Automatic Openable Pads) which has the best overall efficiency of any other adiabatic system. The system completely excludes adiabatic panels from the air flow when environmental conditions render the adiabatic process either useless or inefficient.
To help our customers with transport costs and installation, we have designed many of our devices with the EMI System (Easy Modular Installer). This design method also allows us to produce high power devices which can be transported by standard size lorries and “standard cube” containers. In addition to lower transport costs, devices designed in this way allow installation costs to be cut drastically because they can be lifted onto the roof and installed as modules. Take, for example, a 4000 kg Dry Cooler which can be installed using a small crane to lift ten modules weighing 400 kg each onto the roof. If you think about the organisational difficulties encountered on some installation sites, this system simplifies the entire process and reduces overall costs by over 40%.
To provide support to ALTHERMO customers throughout the entire product life cycle, for any customer requesting one, we have developed service and accessory warranty formulas:
- the PLUS formula includes a 36-month warranty extension with commissioning and start-up by specialised ALTHERMO personnel
- the PLUS EXTRA formula includes a 36-month warranty extension with commissioning, start-up and periodic programmed maintenance by specialised ALTHERMO personnel
- in addition to the above, we can also provide extensions to the standard warranty of up to 60 months.
