Two DMI land in Australia for a top efficiency plant

Althermo wins an important project in Australia with the collaboration of its distributor in the country. Two high-power DMI (Modular Intellibatic Drycoolers) have been installed in the Monash University Thermal Precinct plant, a centralised project that offers best in class efficiency and full electrification for one of the top universities in Australia (www.monash.edu).

The DMI model is the only drycooler on the market provided with Intellibatic technology: an intelligent system that excludes evaporative panels from the air flow when adiabatic operation is not efficient (e.g. when air temperature is low enough or relative humidity is too high).

The 2 units dissipate a total power of 2.7 MW and, thanks to the integrated recirculating adiabatic system, they have 80% less water consumption than traditional disposable systems.
